Financial resources given to UMCOR in response to human-made and natural disasters go directly to the work of recovery where need is greatest in the US and around the world. You can give to the US disaster response and recovery fund here, or the international disaster fund here.

The HOPE Center provides many services to the homeless in Rapid City such as a Drop-In Day Center, Mail Center, Phone Center, Short and Long-term Storage, Critical Document storage, Soap for HOPE – free on-site laundry program, Haircuts for HOPE, Clothing vouchers to Partner Agencies , Provides hygiene kits, toilet paper, socks, laundry soap, and other items as available. CLUMC serves a meal once a month at Cornerstone which is an overnight shelter of homeless in the Rapid City area. Through projects, visits and parties for kids, we also relate to clients at Cornerstone's Women's and Children's Shelter. Learn more.
CLUMC helps Love, Inc. provide financial, nutrition, and parenting classes to those in need; purchase clothing for kids in need, and help give older youth business experience at THRIVE. Learn more.
CLUMC people often serve at Feeding SD, a large food bank in Rapid City. We donate food and help sort food and pack for children's backpacks. Learn more or help feed a child for a year by giving here.

Each Christmas, CLUMC digs deep and purchases food which is placed into baskets that are given to people in need.
Canyon Lakers support WAVI (Working Against Violence, Inc) supplying items to women and families who have experienced domestic violence. We especially love to help with Mommy's Closet. Learn more.
Founded in 1972 by a core group of seven churches (including CLUMC). Church Response continues to help elderly and working poor stretch scarce resources. We donate non-perishable food, paper and household products. When we shop using gift cards purchased in the lobby each week, we get full value; the store of our choice gives 2% of our purchase to Church Response and CLUMC gets 3%.
CLUMC is a huge supporter of children in locals schools by providing backpacks through contributions and volunteering with Feeding South Dakota, our mitten drive for seven schools through winter months, and maintaining the clothes closet at Canyon Lake Elementary.
