Children's Ministry

Sunday Shine!

Sunday School for ages 3 to 5th grade take place Sunday mornings from 9:35 am to 10:35 am (September - May).

We begin with an opening "worship" time together, then move to age level classrooms for learning that is fun, loving, and welcoming for all.

Check in downstairs in the BIG ROOM to the left of the stairs.

We use Cokesbury’s “Deep Blue” curriculum.  We’re diving deep into God’s love — we’ll have adventures, hear exciting Bible stories, and learn how to live as disciples of Jesus through service – just like Jesus taught!

Children's Church

After Children's Time (a special time with the pastor in worship) kids are led downstairs for Children's Church.  Kids learn a lesson about God in a different way than in Sunday School.  They are brought back into the Sanctuary after the teaching message.

Parents - this is optional!  Kids are always welcome in worship.  It's your choice if they stay in worship or attend Children's Church.

Wednesday JAM!

Children's Ministry, 3 years to 5th grade, meet every Wednesday (September to May)  in the Main Building  downstairs in the fellowship hall,  from 5:30-7 pm.  Pizza is served at  5:30 pm.

At 6:00 pm Canyon Lake Kids (3 years to 5th) meet downstairs in the fellowship hall. They will rotate between game nights, service nights, Lego nights, science nights, and "Go Deep" nights. We're done at 7:00 pm.

For our youngest people (infant to kindergarten) we have childcare at all Sunday services and on Wednesday nights.

Staff have been trained in CPR and have passed background checks.  Childcare is located in the Main Building down the office hallway on the right side in the room we call "The Ark".

Activity Bags

You will find children's activity bags in Skylar's Room, just right of the sanctuary doors.  They are loaded with quiet activities your child can do during worship. Feel free to bring them into worship and return them following the service.

Skylar's Room, just to right of the sanctuary doors, is a quiet place where you can  be with your child during the service if he/she needs a moment to refocus.  You can both see and hear the service from there.
