United Methodist women

United Methodist Women at CLUMC have lots of options:

• The UMW Reading Program encourages members to think critically about current issues through an annual selection of member-reviewed books. It offers an excellent opportunity to deepen your spirituality and to broaden your understanding of our mission work. You may check out books from the parlor UMW library. Learn more here.

• Working on local service projects. Recent examples are crocheting Hug Rugs for Rapid City's homeless population; making curtains for cornerstone's Womens and Children Shelter; wrapping Christmas gifts at Black Hills Children's Home.

• Sponsoring fund-raising events like the All-Church Rummage Sale

• Attending "circles" for fellowship, service and study together.

* Reading intentionally to learn more about the world.

• Contributing to local, national and international projects through an annual personal pledge of support.
